Who we are

Best Company Hub is an independent sports newsroom covering French football for readers in Canada and beyond. Our team includes reporters, analysts and editors working from Paris, Lyon, Montreal and Toronto.

Editorial principles

We prioritise accuracy over speed, context over sensationalism, and primary reporting over recycled commentary. Every article identifies its rubric, author and publication date. We distinguish confirmed facts from background reporting and never present speculation as certainty.

Fact-checking

Before publication, each piece is reviewed by a section editor who verifies names, scores, dates, competition formats and quoted material. Statistical claims are cross-checked against primary sources. When we publish a correction, we note it at the top of the article with a timestamp.

Our team

The newsroom includes nine reporters and analysts, three data specialists who maintain competition databases, and two dedicated fact-checkers. Section editors oversee national team, league, European and academy coverage. Editorial meetings are held weekly to plan coverage and review ongoing investigations.
